However, the names of two dishes are mispelled ("befsrtoganof" should be "stroganow" and "cieleçe" should be "cielęce"). The book is quite small, a little smaller than A5 copybook, but thicker. Her polish food knowledge is sadly limited. Few pictures from the book of some very recognisable polish dishes: Dumplings, Beef strogonov, Golombpki and apple cake (szarlotka).

YUM! Aside from that, the formatting leaves a bit to be desired but the recipes are solid and I am glad I purchased this cookbook.
If you want to learn to cook Polish food including soups, salads and main courses, this is the book for you. She's Polish but has lived abroad most of her life so the only time she gets to eat polish food is when she is at her Mom's house.
Though they are minor mistakes, probably typos, the editor should have spotted them easily. Got this as a little gift for my fiance. I've had a browse through the book and saw sooooo many different receipies for all the Polish favourites, including Golombpki (some polish person will butcher me for that spelling), Pierogi and many many more. Authentic recipes that remind me of my mother and grandmother's cooking!
Includes pictures for most of the recipes so you get a fair idea of what you're making and how it should look like.
