This is such a game changer. I enjoy cooking but cooking rice can be quite boring and time consuming if you're doing it on the hob. I used the easy cook long-grained rice and a bit of salt.

Perfect rice? Still producing rice as good as the first time, in fact I've never had anything go wrong or had a bad batch of rice since first using it.

I rinsed the rice beforehand in a sieve, and then put it into the cooker, added the cold water and put in on for 12 minutes in my 800w microwave. I usually put it on for 5 mins check and stir if it needs more water add some and give it another few minutes. It is also good for steaming vegetables! I'm trying to eat a little less, but I love rice, so thought I'd try one of these.

BEST THING I'VE EVER BOUGHTI reduced the amounts in the instruction booklet, which has lots of lovely recipes in, I used 125g of rice and 300ml of cold water, to make just enough for me. Stood for 3 x minutes then put back in for 30 seconds & my rice was perfect & I made my sushi rolls & Tub got a bit hot after 3 x minutes that’s why I did it in stages ! I found the feet on mine were a bit too pointy and smooth meaning it would slip around the microwave platter so just took a file and shaved off a couple of mm off each foot to flatten them and roughen them a bit. I used it the day of its arrival (well timed) and spent half the time I normally would spend cooking it with very little fuss.

You can wash the rice in the bowl and the inner pressure lid works great as a sieve to drain off the water. I'm next.
