The tape loops and backwards lead guitar on Lennon’s “Tomorrow Never Knows” come at you from left and right in a non-stop elixir that’s like the audio equivalent of painting in free form style. Some reviewers mentioned the “revoler” misprint, and it is present. Paul's amazing bass guitar parts, among the very tastiest of all-time by anybody, are heard in more detail. Personally I’m going to toss out the outer box anyways since it’s unnecessary bulk and I need the room for other records on my shelves.

Thank you Giles Martin for a beautifully curated box set! Even "Yellow Submarine", with the backup harmonies split over the 2-channel stereo field, reveals more layers of harmonies than ever heard before.

Was a little annoyed that the vinyl box set came with cd box set hype sticker (shows lack of QC, IMO). My pressing has no noticeable flaws, and arrived without damage.

I was pretty excited when this box set was announced. The 7” was missing, so I ordered another and Amazon was helpful there and not their fault.

First of all, this is written from the standpoint of a huge/die-hard fan for other huge die-hard fans. Song recording details are consistently comprehensive. The packaging is just gorgeous and of course this album is amazing and so fun to listen on vinyl.
