It wasn't major but noticeable, made some panels a little blurrier than I would like. I bought this on a half-whim because I saw how gorgeous the style was, and I wasn't mistaken, it's a stunning manga. I don't have any issues with the manga itself, I do have a little note though about the book, I found that some pages (typically the right side) had ink smudges on them, now I don't know if this is an artist fault or a print fault. I went through the same situation as Yuu when I was little, and the manga deals with this subject impeccably.

I rarely buy manga but I read this online and knew I had to get a copy. I love this work, and it's probably one of my favorites. I had read this manga virtually a long time ago.

As such, the story does have some scenes about sexual abuse, which is not mentioned and if they prefer to avoid the topic it would be better not to buy it. Now I have to say that if you are debating reading this, PLEASE read the trigger warnings beforehand as it gets graphic and intense for a brief while. The main character realises that he doesn't care about gender when falling in love which is such a welcome change because every LGBT manga tends to have the main character have internalised homophobia instead of dealing with their feelings openly.

I'd really love a continuation but unfortunately the author has passed away. Of course I don’t blame the author or the publishing company for this but Amazon shipping lol. **studied English** for what they think I do: a job/ for what I actually do: READ MANGAS IN ENGLISH.

I want to address the shortness of it,,, generally in any media I've consumed, short stories failed to excite me, they always did something wrong, whether it was the poor pacing, lack of attachment, or bland story,, THIS is not the case with Boy Meets Maria, it is paced perfectly, the short format is in its favour even! Great one shot discussing gender identity and love. Style aside, however, the plot is so- soooo good! Anyways the main characters are so adorable I love them.

I arrive a day earlier than expected, the sheets are of excellent quality and the cover is very nice, it came with a small touch in the upper left corner but you don't notice it or bother me, I love the story and the characters, it's my second time ordering something from Seven Seas and I'm really delighted, I recommend it 100% It arrived in very good condition, the edition is very nice. The sensitive topics it deals with are also dealt with in what I think is a head-on tackle but still respectful. This is such a beautiful manga.
