I'm really pleased with it and glad I bought it. This size chicken fit nicely inside the unit – I don’t think I would want to try one that was much bigger as the legs of the one I cooked were pretty much touching the drip tray as the spit turned. The door to access the cooking compartment opens downwards, oven-style - no fiddly drawer units to mess about with. There is another Vine review (with no photos of the fryer actually being used) that claims the basket doesn’t hold enough chips for 4.

I just wish the plastic didn't look so cheap. The fan is noisy whilst this is in use, but there's no ticking timer.

But no regrets So, just put it on the shelf. The accompanying instruction manual could perhaps be clearer and/or include more diagrams as there are quite a lot of parts and accessories to get used to. It does, although a longer frying time may be needed.
