In fact it appears none of it has ever been anywhere near Germany. On first use bag became disconnected from plastic attachment, secured with a cable tie, which meant having to hold bag in place to complete the task. It's made in China for a company called DOMU Brands.

I thought I was being mugged off, got up early, waited in all morning and what looked like I had only got half my parcel delivered. So far it's proving to be great value for money. This handy gadget hoovered them up quickly and easily, macerating them so I could use them to mulch the flower beds (under a top layer of Strulch to stop them blowing everywhere).

The second issue is the instructions will probably result in people assembling it the wrong way. Pulled all the components out and was quite impressed with the build quality to be honest, I hadn’t spent an arm & a leg on it so I wasn’t expecting the world, but this really impressed me. I followed them to the letter but realised something was wrong with the way the screws were going in.

If you put it in from the left hand side the end of the screw thread will be turning in thin air. Good piece of kit, used it for about 45mins and it worked well.
