They tuck parts away really well and everything mostly looks the way I'd expect it to. Also, I really love this series of toys.

I'm not quite ready to play out the animated movie storyline just yet. As a collector of Transfomers for about 11 years now (not counting all those accumulated as a child), I've always steered clear of series such as Masterpieces, expensive models and other degrees of detail. " or drive it on the carpet or anything, but I have a LOT of fun playing with this thing. I loved my G1 prime until I broke it.

This model is a true masterpiece and deserves a place in the showcases of all Transformers fans. I never got him, but I had plenty of other G1 Transformers. I believe that with this version of Optimus Prime has been achieved a level of fidelity to the animated character, attention to detail and versatility of joints worthy of a collectors product, without sacrifice the game value for children.

Fantastic reinterpretation of the G1 classic. A little small but it’s great! I was fortunate enough to pick up the first Masterpiece Optimus Prime many moons ago for a very reasonable price, but have not had the funds to purchase one since.

As a child, I always wanted Optimus Prime, Leader of the Good Guys. Something I've missed since owning G1 Prime and Powermaster. Things got real between Megatron and Prime.
