When he hears a strange scream from the nearby woods, he goes to investigate and finds a giant egg. “Beep oh bah wom? "Reality is fragile. I began the book two days before going abroad, and it simply had to come with me!

This is a story that needs to be experienced. Some people describe a good novel as a “hug in a book” but this is more like a therapy session in a book, in the best possible way. I don’t want to say too much and spoil it. But this book definitely delivers on all fronts.

The story is unlike anything I've read before, and I loved it for that. I bought this simply because I’d never heard of it or the author (I know; I live under a rock). For me, I just took the egg at face value and loved it for what it was.

To say anything else would spoil it but just know that this book will break and then heal you. He also has to take care of it, giving him something to focus on other than his self-loathing and guilt.
