“𝘿𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪? i was on the edge of my seat reading, dying to know what happened next ⚔️in this book, we get to see sera continue to be her usual bada** self, but she is extremely and way more vulnerable than she ever was in book 1 🥹💋 also can we just have a moment of appreciation for ash/nyktos 😮‍💨😍 hes my favorite…EVERthe prophecies and drama in this book is everything ✨ and i didn’t feel like this storyline dragged on so much like I did with the first book - the first book was also 5 stars for me though!

We have more of Nektas, Jadis and Reaver. I could not put this book down. While they were getting a lot of hurt thrown at them, they still managed to have those moments which I adored.

the scenes are described with details and feelings. Sera struggles with anxiety and seeing her deal with it and how others help her was beautiful. This book blew my mind. well done Jen, well done.

The story did pace a bit slow through the middle, but I did not mind because it means we got more Draken content! This book makes me FEEL all of the emotions, page after page. However, even though there is a lot satisfaction - I noticed the way it changed. The relationship between Niktos and the other Gods, the Draken, and the mortals, the trust and loyalty, the friendship, all these are beautifully written, in a manner that very few authors let the readers experience.
