The media could not be loaded. The above picture is a good 11 hours after it went in! The stove was still warm (not hot) after 9ish hours but was more than enough to start the fire again in the morning.

Nothing complicated, just put the vents on the lowest setting before going to bed. Delivery was a lot quicker than the estimated date and came via DPD. These do exactly that. Will buy again.

I did not come down to a warm fire that just needed topping up. I was a little sceptical about the claim that these burn overnight, but I’ve tested them and they do indeed burn for 8 hours (and a little longer). They will burn for about an hour with a flame (see my first picture) and then they evolve into what I would describe as a giant ember (see my second picture which was taken after 4 hours)I have started my fire back up, again by following the instructions, after 8 hours without any issues, and I reckon the briquettes would have burned for at least another 2 hours. You don’t have to keep getting up to check on the fire and it’s not so hot you have to open all the windows!
