Very strong plastic construction, that will last for years. I brought one at £4.

Well made and sturdy, and they stack well. I put foil over the top then put the lid on otherwise the paint does tend to dry. The lid also covers a deep area of the lip of the box, so if anything is spilt accidentally, NOTHING will get inside, and will instead, drip down the sides. Easy to vacuum dust off the lid, and to wipe down using a microfibre cloth.

Was disappointed to find that they are not big enough to take A4 pocket or plastic folders (see pic). 99. There IS space lengthways, just not sideways. Papers that are slightly over A4, like lamination pouches (or laminated A4 documents), A4 housed inside card binders/press kits, etc, will bend at one side, and not sit flush.

Why? Should have paid more attention to the exact details. With foil it lasts much longer and so not wasting any paint 👍🏻

99 and was so pleased with the 4 litre storage box that I ordered another one {I kept an eye on the price as it did increase considerably and I waited till it came back down to £4. This is my 3rd purchase of these stackable plastic boxes, and I continue to highly recommend them. I've taken 1 star off because the barcode stickers need 2 applications of Sticky Stuff Remover to get them off and there were some scratches on the box. I'd be happy with a replacement lid but lools like i got to send all four back.

I got a few of these to hold spare bits of Warhammer 40K miniatures I had lying around and they’re so handy, I’ve bought loads more since! I put my glass painting palette (an upside down cutting board) inside the box when I’m finished painting. If there was another box created for these dimensions, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

So, yes, they will take A4 paper, but nothing wider at all. Annoyingly, it is just slightly too long to fit in my Ikea Raskog trolley, and I think the Hobbycraft trolley is slightly smaller so it wouldn't fit in that either. }For £4.
