Overall, these illustrated reissues we've seen coming out the past few years are top-notch, and with this instalment being a year or so old, now is really the time to get it. Beautiful book, been after it for a long time has less illustrations than the others but it is no less stunning. And books like this really deserve to be brought to the visual stage - and with stunning illustrations like these, you feel like Harry Potter is finally getting the attention it deserves, after all these years. This book also has the colourful ribbon bookmark which matches the hardcover.

I highly recommend. Being the second longest book it was expected that there could not be multiple two page spreads throughout as the book would be too large. I can not fault Jim Kay’s wonderful illustrations which help bring the story to life. Really pleased with it!

the film's also missed out so much of the books that they leave people who haven't read the books confused lol so personally I don't think it actually matters that the characters don't look like they have been taken from the filmThis book has been well presented and makes a great addition to anyone's collection or even a gift to a child who hasn't read the books, this will make a great gift for any fan of the books or in my case a nice book to add to a collection . However, I removed the sleeve and seen a scratch on the hardback! I love these books and the illustrations- I thought it would be like the paperback version which was small however the book itself is huge, I should’ve checked the specs for it but I’m not complaining it’s amazing to have! The stories, the characters, the spells, the magic, the villains, it's all there.

The media could not be loaded. Like the previous illustrated editions before it, this too features exceptional quality illustrations by Jim Kay, adding more rich details to the wizarding world of JK Rowling.

It detracted from the story and loses the immersion quality the other books created. Arrived today and it’s as awesome as the first three.

In this book you are met with the same dimpled design throughout without variation. The only problem I've had is not with the book itself, but rather with Amazon's delivery service. in answer it had to be done lol :)I'm so pleased I bought this it is a beautiful book yes its large and heavy not a book to take on a train or bus however the illustrations are stunning and beautifully done , yes people may complain they don't match the film's but why should they ? I'm looking forward to getting the rest of these illustrated books I just hope we don't have to wait ten years this time to own the full collection
