Hello, I bought the Pioneer 2-DIN Radio because I was already hoping for a cheap and high-quality retrofit solution for Android Auto. CarPlay is luxury. Overall quality: the display cannot keep up with a current new vehicle (reference VW Touran model year 2023) in terms of sharpness and brightness.

On my Golf 5 I had to buy separately an adapter for the connection and an outer frame, and I would still be missing the interface for the steering wheel controls. The installation was really easy and was a perfect fit for me (Golf 4).

Apple CarPlay works seamlessly and makes life so much easier than having a janky phone mount in the vents! On the original radio, I had two cables for the antenna (grey and white). You can of course also install a rear view camera and works very well and smoothly with the camera from the same brand. If it had looked even better, it would probably be the perfect radio for this price range.
