It will ache. We are so used to the stories of eternal love between the undead lord and his created bride, that we do not think that even these, like all unions, can go through the tragic and unavoidable. T. I'm really glad I finally read this book and I will definitely be looking for more from this author!

The anguish and terror was portrayed so well and a fantastic description of a life of abuse. I loved the relationship between the three vampires and the way they bonded together, both sexually and to protect each other from the head Vampire.

It was so good to have the bonus short story and I'm wholly excited for more from this series and the characters. With two books due next year by this author I will definitely be adding these to my book shelves. If you have ever known someone in an abusive relationship, this will hurt.
