SUMMARY
They're extremely sharp and strong, and make clean cuts with a satisfying 'chunking' sound. The Okatsune 101 has an overall length of 180mm and is the most compact pruner of the 3 models, they are particularly suitable for a small hand. Sharpening - the Okatsune 400 grit sharpening stone is recommended. Its razor-sharp shears are forged by the best master blacksmiths of Japan, using an age-old technology. The product lineup currently are pruning shears, cutting and harvesting shears, hedge shears, Bonsai scissors, and Ikebana scissors for traditional Japanese floral arrangements. These have a direct action, resulting in a very clean, efficient cut. Design works for lefties and righties. Red and white handles make them easy to find if you put them down in the garden.

The Admninistrator
Well, face the discontent that I am on the part of the seller, I will try to circumscribe my criticism to the product, which has little to do with who, in this case represents it. The cutting of these scissors is excellent, the quality of steels, very good, the quality of plastics covering the grip area, medium; hergonomy acceptable.

2's that clog up with sap making the blades stick. Compares favourably with my 30 year old Felco 8's, It will be interesting to see if they also last as long.

The Okatsune No. Through Amazon, you order your replacement from the seller and not a word about it, there are about five days.

However if you've large hands or want to match the size of Felco No. These Okatsune103 by-pass secateurs are an object lesson in simple design.

I took the 103 and branches up to 2cm or so cuts them well but it wasn't designed for branches too big. Comfortable fit and reasonably light considering the very substanial blades. The Okatsune blades are made from razor-sharp Samurai steel with a cutting mechanism that stays sap free, which is unlike Felco No. When they arrived, they were so laughably obvious as fakes.
