This book has caused my 7 year old to rediscover his love for his Lincoln logs, wooden train tracks, and his toy soldiers and Indians. This was the last read aloud I got through with my students before all this craziness happened.

I was nervous about my 8 and 7 year old boys not liking it, because I picked it out. This book is amazing! When he got home that day he was equally unimpressed with a cupboard that his brother got him that didn't even have a key, but his mother had a super cool old skeleton key that fit perfectly. They have also started to say "oh crumbs!

Good quality ! ". Omri had nothing better to put into his new cupboard but his new indian, so he puts it inside and locks it with his new key. " Instead of "oh my gosh!
What was he to do with a little plastic indian without a cowboy? They love it!
He even pretends that was his closes the door to his locker in his bedroom that the Indians and soldiers have come to life when he opens it. Anyways this is great book and has caused great things to happen in our house. Many of my students consider this one of their favorites now. They are completely hooked and beg every night for " just one more chapter".
Standard bindingGood for kids Not long afterwards he hears something coming from inside his cupboard, but his little plastic Indian is the only thing inside? This book has so many great characters that are so easy to fall in love with! Oh my gosh is a big pet peeve of mine.
