Although there are obstacles to their friendship (namely Flo's jealous ex-best friend and Renée's growing infatuation with Flo's brother), fifteen is an age where anything can happen, where life stretches out before you, and when every betrayal feels like the end of the world. We've partnered with Ecologi to support their responsible tree planting schemes around the world. It's a year and a half on from PAPER AEROPLANES, and Renée is now living idyllically with her Auntie Jo. She feels as though she needs Renée's support more than ever, so when a handsome young boy enters Flo's life, she finds herself powerfully drawn to his kindness, and his faith.

Catherine Rusconi

I am hooked for life I raced through this and found it really enjoyable. Where So Lucky excels is its essential premise revolves around perfection and how society has fallen victim to glossy and unblemished images that are completely unobtainable and unrealistic ironically created by people who are less than perfect themselves.

With some poignant moments to dwell on, this quirky and sharp-witted story of three women is a quick and easy read with some surprising twists along the way. I wasn't sure if, at 48 years old, I would relate to the story or characters, wondering if it was going to be full of much younger people.

The storyline is boldly written and Ruby’s behaviour around her condition will resonate with many women, as will her difficulties with managing motherhood. Can you live life on your own terms without judgement? Dawn O’Porter has written a thought-provoking book for the chick-lit category with a little light-hearted and saucy humour. The book sends out a great message and i would definitely recommend reading this if having it all is something you struggle with.

From the first page I was hooked, short chapters are a must for me too! I found So Lucky to be hilariously addictive and scintillatingly smutty!

Hannah

While we get to see directly into the lives of Beth and Ruby, the only lens through which we learn about Lauren is either through her Instagram posts or through the eyes of the other two women’s narratives. I enjoyed the way each character's story is told separately, allowing the reader to get a real feel for their personality, but slowly seeing how they are all going to come together at the end.

Mrs C

The characters and story lines are totally believable and so down to earth making this book very easy to get drawn into straight away. Her character development turns out to be the best in the book and she comes into her own once she’s able to shed herself of her insecurities and see her life quite clearly for what it is.

Kerry-Lou

It is raw, relatable, real and inspirational. I found the author's writing style very readable. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. I would recommend this book as a fun and Frank book but in all honesty it isn’t one that I will be reading again.
