Frustrating, but still about the only shoes I can wear with my extra-wide feet. I would recommend consulting with your local Brooks store just to have a fitting done for your foot.

Only just got them, but very pleased with the support under my heels. It appears that there is a rubber part inside that caused those holes. The last thing you want is to buy a shoe that does not provide the level of support needed for your body & exercises. Goods received widely before expected, from the order to delivery only 3 days compared to the estimated week.

I like it because if the perfect one for me can run it adapts very well to my footprint and they are the one with the least lessons I have Body weight, fitness level, running surfaces, and weather will all play a part in how well the shoe holds up). Test on the road after 80 km travelled: the shoe fits perfectly to the foot, light and comfortable already from the first km.

Don’t know how much longer they’ll last before I *do* start to feel it while wearing them, but I’m hopeful I can at least get a year out of these before having to purchase a new pair…On a side note: I’ve had issues with the upper external lining of Brooks shoes in the past getting “slits” in them (tearing easily), but with these the outsides are fine, it’s the interior that’s falling apart. For the price I'm really disappointed even after good use, this shouldn't happen after 6 months. ) It does not require extra soles, the standard ones perform optimally their work making the fit flawless.

I bought these in March 2021 and it’s currently August 2021. Bad design, two holes appeared after 8 months and I don't even use those shoes more than once a week. See photo.
