Pros:-The sapphire glass-screw down crown-200m water resistance-decent bracelet with micro-adjustment holes-20mm lug width allows for easy switching to different straps,-Accurate in-house orient automatic movement- ~40 hour power reserve-Attractive watch face. The bezel click/turning difficulty is so minor, as I’m not, nor will I be using this watch to actually time dives. In the under $500 category, you really can’t go wrong with the Orient Kamasu.

For my 7" inch wrist I needed to remove 2 links. I estimate that in a 24 hour period, my watch gained about 2 seconds, which is well within what I hope for with an automatic watch, and is notably better than my Longines watch.

I own all of the Orient Ray 2s and this Kamasu is incredible, easily comparible to a $500 -$1000 watch, Sapphire Crystal Clarity is amazing Regarding precision, with my wear pattern (8-12h/day, a lot of desk-sitting combined with light activity in- and around the house) I goes fast by less than a minute in 2 weeks which is more than excellent for a non-COSC movement.

And so I will mostly be talking about how the watch is like on its own merits instead of comparing it to other watches simply because I don't have much other watches to compare it to. I think the value you get from this watch is amazing. I cannot comment on the waterproofing aspect of the watch as I don't really swim nor dive and I do find the stainless steel bracelet a bit boring, but I don't have much to complain about it either. For me this happens without issues from the first try so far.
