Tracklisting -DEF LEPPARD - HYSTERIA. 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' and 'Armgeddon It' still sound as fresh, and otherworldly, today - they're just songs that were *made* to be performed in the likes of Wembley. Excitable6.

Hysteria is full of great song after great song after hit single after great song. Liner notes include complete song lyrics, personnel details, gratitudes and a brief history of the era for the band leading up to the album's original release date of August 1987. 'Run Riot', 'Don't Shoot Shotgun' and 'Excitable' are some of the best and most infectious tracks Def Leppard have ever written, and would be singles for any bands of a lesser calibre.

It's very '80s, and definitely glam no matter what anyone says, but just perfect to listen to. Most are 180g, which are still for audiophiles, mind you - and the records do certainly feel thick, and durable. Gods of War2.

Armageddon ItSide Two -1. And it pays off - Hysteria has never sounded so good. The gatefold sleeve has been produced really well, as are the two record sleeves that come with. So much love and care has been put into this.

Highly recommend. 'Gods of War' is a big, overarching anthem that really builds, and 'Love and Affection' is a worthy closer of a definitive album. It can be a bit of a pain to keep changing sides every three tracks, but that's the trade-off for better sonics. 'Hysteria' itself is a classic though, personally, one of the weaker tracks (and it's still very good).
