Reviews

Teresa

He had swollen intestines and they offered to put him asleep that day on the assumption that his symptoms were due to stomach cancer. I read through reviews before buying - they were mostly from dog owners and a couple of my concerns weren't addressed.

Olivia

I don't think the beef flavour is particularly good for cats, chicken would probably be better and they would potentially be more inclined to eat it then. At the moment I'm also giving him probiotics in the morning (he has a small breakfast) and they have certainly helped too, but I think this product is what's finally got him there. Finally after trying many different remedies and having him checked by the vet, I found this.

Very relieved and will keep him on Protexin as long as my vet recommends. Previously I'd been sprinkling probiotic capsules onto her food, but assuming this pot does the trick this will be a much cheaper option. I mix it in with their dry food and it seems they accidentally eat some of it this way.

Angie

He's comfortable again and he should now gain weight. Bought this at my vet's recommendation as I have a rescue greyhound with a chronic diarrhoea problem - months of trying different foods having little effect.

Howard T.

Without support fron the adoption agency I was left figuring out what diet and care Stanley needed. I've tried adding it to raw chicken and they wouldn't eat it. We have a little Dog 🐕 who is very fussy with her food.

He is a big dogue de Bordeaux. When it arrived we offered her a pellet but she snorted and walked away.
