I put them in from January and this photo was taken mid February and it was the same for the other two - completely full. Must be some benefit to removing this from every room?

I have no idea why there are good reviews for these. Give it time, and it should work.

I'll end up trying to find re-fillable and more environmentally friendly alternatives but they do work The beads clumping together and becoming solid is the first phase of them taking in moisture from the air. I tilted it so hopefully you can see how full it is. It's quicker in the kitchen and bathroom.

So do not expect more than 200ml water. But it does not collect 500ml as advertised.

We got some of these little boxes and put them around the kitchen (as you can see in the photo) and the salt is no longer clumpy when we try to pour it and the boxes are gradually collecting the moisture. This is our first winter in our new house and we noticed the salt getting clumpy when we stored it in the kitchen cupboard. I tried another in a different room and another and they all did exactly the same thing.

Zero stars! They certainly need to be in place for more than 2 weeks. I write the date on mine so I know how long they are out.

An unopened one weighs 292grams where full one weighs about 482grams. Over night whilst sleeping you expel around 6 cups of moisture into the air. There’s still a lot of water that forms on the window area, so maybe I’ll look into a dehumidifier.
