About this deal
Whoosh! She doesn't want to wear her pants outside her trousers! She's got the mask. But she's not interested in being a silly superhero. While she's looking for one, she meets lots of friends and neighbours who need her help, but no villains. She's got the cape. This uplifting picture book celebrates key-workers, and shows little readers that we all have the potential within us to be superheroes.

It’s beautifully illustrated and covers so many hero jobs as kids perceive them. My daughter really enjoyed listening to this story and I think she particularly liked the part about superhero vets and this is what she wants to be when she grows up (she's 5 and no doubt this will have changed by next year).

I was kindly sent this book for free in exchange for an honest review. When we finished reading I asked her who her favourite superhero is (expecting her to say vet) and she said that I'm her favourite superhero even though I wasn't in the book (I'm a nurse before anyone gets confused).
I would recommend this book to anyone with young children. It’s engaging and bright and fun.
My 2. It's such a clever story and a great way to show gratitude to all of the key workers who have been working extra hard recently. My favourite part about this book is the fact that proceeds from every sale will be donated to charity. For the Ranj fans out there there’s a pic of him on the inside cover too!
