! Doesn’t break when I forget and try to whip the door open (unlike the Door Buddy! Make sure to follow the instructions on installation because I’m guessing that the shaft might break eventually if you don’t. It took us a minute to figure out how to install.

I got it for my pantry because my 3 yr old kept sneaking snacks and or hiding in the pantry while eating whatever sweats she can find. The door lock is perfect. ? So far it works and no longer have to hide food.

We also have a gate, and lock the door, but sometimes hubby forgets both gate AND lock. ), but this is a much cleaner, simpler, safer option. I’m 6’5” 300lbs and not very gentle with things.

Great design And our older son can still get in there with the help of the wand. Works great to keep pets and small children out of the closet however when I forget they are there I can push the door right open if I put my weight into it. Super easy installation!
