Easy to put up and holding up well. Can be easily adjusted, you have to buy the item within the size of your intended placement. I just set the length using the stud and holes to larger than the gap to fill, then put one end up, pushed hard to compress, and put the other end in.

For those leaving 1 star reviews saying it doesn't fit their walls, they may be missing the point where you compress it to fit. This balcony door has an 87" width x 81" drop, and I have no qualms at all regarding this tension rod falling down. To hang curtains in a recessed window bay perfect

Bought this to decorate my large kitchen window. I was drawn to it as the description mentioned it was suitable for heavy blackout curtains or as a drying rack for wet clothes.

It's been up for just over a week so far and it hasn't budged one bit - we've got 2 thermal curtains on it which weigh approximately 2kg in total. I have 4 curtains on it, and its 4 feet wide where I have the bifold doors so needed to use the supplied bracket.

We couldn't use anything else as there's wiring behind the wall and we couldn't drill. I thought it was one of those rods that you set to length and twist to lock in position. Originally, when I purchased it, I didn't realise it was sprung. It was easy to put together and even easier to put up.

I can't say how sturdy this is as I didn't need it. (It would definitely hold much more weight that this). Great extension curtain pole - would definitely recommend- comes in numbered packaging so easy to assemble- need a strong person to put up as tension is so strong.
