Someone in the past had attempted to remove the rear hoses and made a spectacular job of rounding the compression nut on the hard line. It worked! Keep the spanner flat and as much of the contact faces around the nut to be removed.
The quality is great and engineered brilliantly. The 11mm end of spanner fitted over the front hoses perfectly and removed them with some effort, but no rounding off. This tool is superb and a must have for anyone attempting brake line removal.
DON'T RUSH RUST! However, the rear was a different story, requiring the use of the 10mm end to be "gently persuaded" over what used to be the 11mm compression fitting nut. Gently apply the pressure and hope it did not round-off further.
