If you want mega selfiesBUY ONE It is completely made of plastic with a brass insert to mount on a tripod. i recommend 3cm (min height), 20cm (max height).

The product is what I was expecting for the price. I didn't think I'd get 1 as it kept saying postal restrictions but as you can see I got 1 eventually and I'm well pleased with it. Works great I use mine on a joby gorilla pod for art tutorials I use only in landscape mode and this keeps the iPad in place fine as long as you set up correctly - i don't move it much so very stable for me - came exactly as expected the next day .

It has thick foam to protect the rear of the tablet but much thinner to protect the ends. Although it won't fit an iPad air in portrait it isn't an issue because most tripods will allow adjustment to compensate for this. Overall, a good, well designed product. 2cm width and 12.

really good product - as this was so cheap i expected it to be just a stand in until i got some other model , (got it as needed something the next day) since ive used this for my Manfrotto clamp and arm i don't think i need the more expensive one . There is a lock on the rear which locks the height and keeps the tablet from moving around which keeps it secure when on the tripod.
