The little silicon bands that held them in place had broken long a ago. It has been in storage since this was released in 1996 as a 30-year anniversary set. When she opened it on Christmas day, she was so surprised.
Now, Ken once again has his phaser, and Barbie has the communicator in-hand and a medical tricorder over her shoulder. They are ready to be on the next away team. The fabric and style of the clothing is especially impressive. I carefully slid the entire 'set' out of the bottom and used a touch of hot glue to secure them in place.
I was so happy to see this gift on Amazon while searching for gifts for my wife. The phaser and communicator had fallen to the bottom of the box.
But Barbie and Ken, the clothing, and the accessories are still in perfect condition. The condition of the box is not like new.
