I had seen this product & wondered if it would work but I was sceptical. He was incredibly depressed, he couldn't walk and sniff the ground without getting the thing stuck in the mud.

Purchased this for my mum's dachshund who just had a nasty dog bite on her shoulder and had to have minor surgery. I am so pleased with it I really didn't think it would be this successful but it has really exceeded my expectations so wanted to write this review in the hope other dogs will benefit from it.

I blew up and thought it was shorter but then deflated and inserted finger and found the two ends inside were folded over, preventing the inner extending when inflated. I first tried it on my spaniel that had managed to put a large hole in his side whilst scouting for birds in the undergrowth. I kept using it whenever she was supervised as it did make her think twice and slowed her down a bit, but it could do with being that bit wider unless you have a brachycaphelic breed! It must be comfortable for her with it having no hard edges unlike the lampshade & the design means it doesn't have to be fastened overly tight unlike the soft cone.

Used for two weeks with no problem. I thought my crazy pug would go nuts with a lampshade collar on & had already had a bad experience with one on my other pug when he injured himself trying to get it off, but I knew it was necessary post surgery.

Easy wipe clean exterior. She can sleep comfortably & in a natural position in it. Seriously this product needs to be better marketed, I can't believe only one person in 2 weeks of walking around with my pup with a cone on its head.
