You need to re-align it every 3 or 4 shots, but that's not a problem on the range. As I was worried about my grip, this made me swing faster, with this aid, knowing my grip was fine this helped me swing slower therefore getting better consistency at contact. Over the last couple of years have developed a problem with my grip so gave this a go.
