Consider putting something under the legs as the 90deg angle of the square tube is what comes in to contact with the ground. ) so for us it was a two person job. Nice and sturdy and powder coated so I guess that you could leave it outdoors if you wanted. Having purchased my hammock first, I discovered that I needed a stand that was big enough for it.

Very easy assembly but we found it a bit on the heavy side (not as young as we used to be! The frame was easy to build with assistance to support the upright arms which hold the hammock. The package is very heavy so be warned it requires a two person lift. Arrived with a slightly damaged box.
