My roommate and I both think the pages are quite beautiful and it is one of my favorite coloring books! An hour or so seems to be long enough to clear my mind. I've added a few photos just to show that some of the backgrounds are already colored and some are not.

Photos to follow. The other problem with this book is that the patterns go right up to the spine so you can't complete the page you have started. I used both bullet point animation markers and Crayola markers to color and have not experienced any bleed-throughs at all.

This one provides just enough fun intricate designs without being overwhelming. I would recommend this and the others by Hannah Davies.
