If this type of art, including people, animals and mythical creatures appeals to you, your money will not be wasted on this. It is just for me so I will deal with the damage, but I wouldn’t have gifted it in this condition.

I love this book. The author is from Uzbekistan, and her art has a definite Russian/Scandinavian feel. The hard cover is embossed. I absolutely cannot wait to get started drawing again.

Dinara Mirtalipova is incredibly talented and she is sharing her wonderful gift with us. It's the perfect book if you love folk art She doesn't waste half a book about preparing to paint, she digs right into the good stuff. The bubble envelope didn’t protect the book as well as I would of liked.

The project ideas in the back of the book are actually just pictures of finished projects (no directions, etc). The author shows how she creates her art, but there is little instruction on how to actually create you own art.
