Even close up you feel you are looking into the eyes of an elephant. This would be a great addition to any collection and for educational purposes. Great figures. So full of details!

Amazon isn’t the cheapest for Schleich and Papo figures but my son requested another elephant for his collection and this was available here . See previous review.

Bought her a calf to 'care for'. I am blown away by the detail, colors, texture and craftsmanship of this "toy.

Probably on a different scale than the various Schleich farm animals but suits the wildlife I've just bought on Amazon. Even the bottom of the feet have a natural skin texture.

I originally purchased the Papo one which was cheaper but the detail was awful, especially the tusks and colouring - I spend more money on animal figurines so the the scale matches up . I find Schleich is superior for wild animals figurines albeit more expensive .

I do find the paint does come off in some areas with normal play of stomping and crashing . I proudly display it like any other quality artwork.
