I loved the setting for the book. Flitting between the past surrounding the fire and Lilys death and now when August returns and the story unfolded. As it turns out everyone is keeping secrets and not everything is as it seems. Adrienne Young’s storytelling was quite beautiful.

I was totally hooked on this book from the start and quite simple I dont think this review will do it justice. I highlighted a lot and her writing captivated my imagination.

Dragon Rider

The imagery is beautifully vivid and Saiorse felt so real. A mysterious island, magical families, an unsolved murder and an unbreakable love combine to create an atmospheric, compelling and page-turning novel. I read and enjoyed both Fable and Namesake so welcomed the chance to read an arc copy of Spells for Forgetting by Adrienne Young.
