Putting the phone in the pouch means it gets too hot. It fits easily in the laptop section of my backpack when folded and can easily be hung from a tree or a tent when camping.

It's a fairly big unit when unfolded, so I found the best way to use it was having vertically. I am sat here with 2 phones fully charged ,2 tablets fully charged, my watch fully charged, 3 power banks fully charged and 2 small power bank ( only 1300mah) torches fully charged, It looks like I shall have to give the solar panel a day off tommorow , I have nothing left to charge up ! The non version started charging the phone even through a window. Even on cloudy days it charges with good power

Otherwise super to be able to charge battery and phone when off grid. If in parked up during the day I put it outside the car and it charges everything even more quickly.

But given the user friendly set up and easy instructions, this has been a breath of fresh air. This has totally exceeded all my expectations. Not so as YouTube reviews from 2017 show the same cells as the latest amp meter version. I then saw the amp meter version was the new version .

Even without full sun at Easter in Uk it was happily charging my phone. I actually think this has to go into the club of favourite things I have bought. If you point the panel at the sun and a bright day it will cheerfully provide 2A of current - see the photo of an in-line USB power meter - that had a phone and a power brick on a single 'hydra' cable. And is currently charging 3 devices (iPhone, Table, BT Headphone) with no problems at all.

I spend a lot of the day either driving or away from the car so it doesn't go outside that often. Received my BigBlue 28W panel today. I have only had it a few days, there has hardly been any sunshine at all, its been overcast with a rain cloudy type sky, and still every day it has charged 2 x10000 mah power banks and as an extra today it charged a 7500 power bank as well.

Also no indicator it is charging. Its only meant to be 28 watts, I didnt expect it to wow me, but it has.
