In true H. is up there with them both. He has his own marine facility out in the ocean where he tags great whites and studies their breeding behaviours (see swoony, my literal dream job) and to add to that he has one of the dirtiest mouths ever. The lighthouse, the creepy lighthouse and the noise and stories they hear and are told make for a spooky atmosphere.

Some of her one liners had me giggling multiple times. For me, this book had the perfect blend of menace, danger, passion and redemption. I felt like I was on edge for most of the book not knowing what was coming next, and that twist at the end girllllllll, I did not see coming! I genuinely felt abject fear for the main characters, at many points in this story, and I was thoroughly enthralled.
