I was able to change the way I thought about alcohol, things that I and society have been telling me were true in order to suck me into an unhealthy lifestyle are now washed away. You reprogrammed my subconscious it is amazing. There are certainly precautions that need to be taken by those who are severely physically addicted as well as for those who have been abusing alcohol for so long that there have actually been neurological changes.

Annie is in no way suggesting that someone who is very addicted to alcohol physically should just be able to stop cold turkey. It's been almost 8 months, now of course I've quit drinking when I was pregnant and nursing but I always knew I would go right back. I felt like Annie had read my mail and This Naked Mind really spoke to me, For those of you that read the negative comments before purchase let me address some of them.

” It was 5 years later I reunited with a dear friend and she was addicted the the drug, alcohol. I started drinking at 15, my dad use to throw massive partys for my older sister (still very much underage) and I wanted to fit in.
