It's like a warm hug on a winter's day - a snuggly delight! Albert may have started my heart warming but Paige's love interest Brodie had my heart racing. I felt like I was meeting old friends again and seeing how well they were doing added another couple of degrees on my heart temperature scale.

. There was a sprinkling of festivity too but not overly done so it can easily be read through the year without feeling like you should have your tree popped up! She made a mistake in her job that she is totally beating herself up about and she keeps imagining the worst that could have happened, even though it didn't.

🥰Paige was an amazing MC - I loved following her story and getting to know her, Albert and Brodie. A perfect read. It was wonderful to visit Wynbridge and Wynthorpe Hall at Christmas time once again. I cannot tell you the last time I read a book and had a character that made such an impact on me, Albert literally melted my heart and if I could have reached into the pages and pulled him out I would wrap him up in cotton wool!

We can’t forget Paige she really was a kindhearted soul who was very hard on herself which only made me want a happy ending for her and as we watch her higgledy piggledy romance blossom it felt like the magic at Wynthorpe Hall was at it again. A Christmas Celebration is my first Heidi Swain book and I'm asking myself why as her books seem right up my street. Was brilliant to be back at Wynthorpe Hall with the characters. If you're looking for a last-minute festive read then I heartily recommend it.

As much as I loved Paige I looked forward to each chapter that visits Albert, he pulled at my heart strings, made me laugh and coo and the realisation that sadly there really are dear old people living alone struggling with no one to reach out to just made this book even more touching. I really hope I get time to read it again nearer Christmas as it's the perfect book to read during the festive season. 💖 I could have reached into the book and given a huge hug to octogenarian Albert and reading about his lonely existence brought a tear to my eye.

This book is a Christmas return to Wynthorpe Hall where we meet characters old and new. Paige has been working as an aid worker in Jordan but due to one or two unexpected developments she finds herself back in the UK and a suggestion from her parents leads to her turning up at Wynthorpe Hall, the home of her godparents. I love the way there's a thread running through all the Wynbridge novels but each can be read as a standalone.
