The photos show the hedge before I cut it and also after cutting. I purchased this long reach hedge cutter to cut a large hedge that had become very untidy. Very easy to insert extension and use. I needed a stepladder, wooden blocks to go under the feet, someone to hold the ladder steady, ear-defenders and some risky stretches to reach the high bits.

This hedge trimmer cuts through my cypress hedge like butter , it is 10 ft high and with an arch in the centre . The battery was not charged when received but after charging it managed the full 20 minute session. It is very quiet and the motor has plenty of charge ,I am a 76 yr old .

7. Putting the strap on that loop meant that it is now balanced on the strap and, when I extended it, the weight was in the right place whereas before, it made it a lot heavier. TIPS1.

Although quite heavy and somewhat difficult to usethe end result is amazing . I might make something a bit more permanent but it works fine now. Battery lasts ages. The strap needed loosening to fit me, when my head and arm were pushed through the loop.
