Would recommend for those who like to draw anime! The school uniforms for girls section has tons of different styles, and it really helps me to get better ideas while designing uniforms for my characters. Beautiful illustrations with lots of detail and examples on how to accomplish specific designs. I used to draw a lot of anime figures back when I was in grade school.

The idea of the book is great just that the book was damaged in the corner of the book pretty bad other than that it would of been great and now I can’t return it as it’s a bday gift for my daughter for the 12 of June and if I return it now she won’t receive it on time for her bday If you are already a seasoned artist, then get this book to expand your horizons of character designing. Great guide!

All in all I like the book and it was worth what I spent but I ordered a new copy and I thought I received a new copy, but once I started really flipping through I realized there were what looks and feels to be pen lines from somebody tracing, and pen/marker ink smudgesI'm going to request a exchange if possible, otherwise a refund and then buy it again from a brick and mortar store (I typically don't buy books online for this very reason, but it was a good deal at 13 bucks)Rated 4 out of 5 because the book itself is good but receiving a used book in lieu of a actual new book lost a star It has so many different poses and shows you how to draw a simple base, and then add details. "
