It also comes with recovery software but I have never had to use it in the past and don't expect to in the future either. The size is 400GB but don't expect to get that as useable storage. You need a card that is capable of recording that data, and the SanDisk Extreme range is one of those cards!

Can't complain. I did order the 64GB Extreme and it wasn't working . This is fast enough to read the microSD card along with my USB 3. 0 port on my PC.

Immediately after installing it on my smartphone I got a message that the SD card is corrupted , couldn't perform a format on any smartphone or PC so I had it returned and reordered it again this time I went for the 128 GB Extreme for an extra £ and it seems to be working fine so far . s format the card inside your dashcam if you're using it for that, not on the computer. The only thing is you need along with this microSD card is a fast card reader with a fast enough USB port. )It comes with a microSD to SD adapter so that the card can be plugged directly into a card reader or laptop.

I bought this card, thinking I was getting 128GB of storage because it stated that I was getting. 238GiB=256GB and 372GiB=400GB. Transfer of data was done quickly and the card was seen with no problem by my phone. .

This makes them ideal for recording video in a dashcam, CCTV camera or video doorbell that produces high definition video at a high frame rate (does footage look laggy if movement is fast? So after trying a couple other cards, this is the only 1 that worked with blackvue cameras so must be legit! Bought this for my Akaso VX50.

Just something to be aware of. The CPU will do a lot of the work, so will need a good CPU to see full speeds, also the drive being transferred from or to needs to support the speeds you want to see.

Several months on, this card is still performing as it should giving me no problems transferring the data to hard drive or any file corruption issues. Depending on the use such as using it on a linux system or if you know you won't have single files bigger than 4GB etc, you could increase the useable capacity slightly. Filming in 4K is very demanding on a memory card as the data rates are high.
